Bring on the HEAT!

You've got to check out the new fabulous succulent gardens that we put together today. These are perfect for your screened-in-lania, to greet your guests by the front door, or as a lovely home decor accessory to your kitchen/dining room.
These guys are very travel friendly, (for all the RV folks out there)! Drought tolerant, can handle full sun, or just in a well lit area in your home.
Hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Plant Networking in Plant City?!?

Seriously? A post dedicated to plant networking? Is there such a thing? And no, I'm not talking about any software here. Plants... you know - green, living things that people... well, plant! You would think (no pun intended here), that selling such things in PLANT CITY would not be a problem. The thing is, although Plant City is in the Sunshine State... there's lots of work to do to introduce our community to the wonders of plumeria. So - off we go to try new things, mingle with our neighbors, and reach out with helping hands. You know the deal, pat one another on the back. Create relationships, and in our case, do a little - Plant Networking!

Flower Power

Have you ever noticed the power that flowers can have? They are given to show someone how much you love them. They are also given in times of sorrow with the hopes of cheering someone up. To celebrate a new life, or honor some one's death beautifully. Given from a child to a mother... mother to a child. Or, just because. The possibilities are endless. One single, little, even weedy thing can make some one's day the brightest. One thing that I have noticed is that flower lovers & gardeners are some of the most laid back, friendly people around. Even in the hectic world we are living in now. Flower people are happy. Happy just to be alive... and have flowers, of course. Looks like the 60's "Flower Children" knew a little something about this. So, to all the 2010's "Flower People" out there... THANK YOU!

Customer satisfaction?

PlumeriasPlus often sits back and wonders, like a large portion of us "old school folks", I'm sure... what ever happened to customer satisfaction? A.K.A. customer service, friendly staff, you know - manners and politeness - the whole shebang!!! Will it ever be the same as it once was? How do we get it back to where it should be? Going the extra distance, answering the extra questions. We - for one, will be doing our part to ensure that this is a major component of our business. We look at customer satisfaction as a pre-requisite of our client base. With that being said, contact us for a truly satisfying customer experience... promise you won't be disappointed. Mahalo~

About Plumerias

The Hawaiian Lei Flower tree is a tropical and exotic flowering tree. The Hawaiians use the exotic Plumeria flower to make their Leis with. They prefer the Plumeria flower over all other flowers because of their intoxicating scent and their superior holding quality once picked. With over 200 different colors and fragrances the Hawaiians have a lot of wonderful flowers to choose from. We at Plumerias Plus feel honored to be able to make them available to you, and lucky to spend our days working with these incredible trees.

For such wonderful trees they are remarkably easy to care for and very low maintenance. First, THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SUN . The more sun light you give your Plumeria the more blooms your Plumeria will give you. Second, they only require WATER ONCE A WEEK during the spring, summer and fall and less than that during the winter months. Third, the Plumeria will release a white sticky residue if a leaf or branch is damaged so it has almost NO PEST that will attack them. And finally they are also VERY DISEASE RESISTANT with the exception of a common fungus known as rust (Coleosporium Domingense). Rust will cling to the bottom of the plumeria leaf. Rust usually occurs in the late fall when the Plumeria is going dormant for the winter and is dropping its leaves. NO LEAVES means NO RUST so NO WORRIES.

With a little care, and lots of sun you will see why the Hawaiians treasure these trees so much. Once you have experienced all their exotic scents and their wonderful and numerous color combinations it will not take long before you too are Hooked.
